The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service is marking World Blood Donor Day (Monday June 14) by introducing new, fairer, ways of working out who can give blood.

Glasgow University Give Blood Society challenge their university sports teams to see who can give the most blood donations.

All blood donation across Scotland is by appointment only. Appointments are bookable by calling 0345 90 90 999, or through your online donor account.
