Are you O Negative? If so we need you. Stocks of this essential blood group are lower than we'd like.

Currently, we are seeing two things:

• Hospital demand for O Negative is higher than usual, which means NHS Scotland is busy helping patients. Last week we issued 412 units of O Negative (11% more than usual)
• Our bloodstocks have taken a dip as last week was half term, and many donors were busy with other activities.
