Bobbi's story

Bobbi McBurnie, whose life was saved through multiple blood transfusions, represents Scotland in the International #MissingType Campaign.

Bobbi was born weighing less than 2lbs and needed 11 blood transfusions over the first 2 years of her life. She is now 14 years old, and helping draw attention to the need for new blood donors in Scotland.

The International #MissingType campaign highlights the fact that without A’s, B’s and O’s patients like Bobbi would not be here today.
