January 2025: We need you
Scotland is currently facing some challenges with adverse weather and seasonal illnesses.
Unfortunately, this has led to the cancellation of important blood donation sessions in places like Galashiels and Wick this week.
On top of that, many donors are needing to cancel their appointments because they're unwell.
We are closely monitoring Scotland's daily blood stock levels, which we update every weekday.
It is very important you do not travel to session if you are unwell, or if it is not safe for you to do so. But if you are healthy and live in a part of Scotland that is not impacted by adverse weather, we need your help now more than ever. We need blood, plasma, and platelet donors to donate.
